Self-proclaimed eclectic artist and writer working in various mediums. My work chronicles the life perspective of a reformed hick transplanted from Texas pollywogs and armadillos to the quiet capital city of Boise where I received a fine arts degree and a twenty-year lesson in identity formation. One trip to the Oregon coast in 2005 determined my future forever home, and five years later I uprooted to soak in the greenery and rain while focusing on special education children in public schools, and teaching myself photography. Six years forward it was time to get back to regularly making art in visual and written form. I own Artingales and volunteer as the Education Chair at Valley Art Association, providing a variety of art classes to adults and children while working on new bodies of work. I consider myself an eclectic pop-conceptual artist preferring to find beauty in the obvious, the mundane, the grotesque, and the overlooked.
